Hack the EXPO: Wired’s latest initiative

Milan - September 2, 2014

Among the various initiatives related to Milan EXPO 2015 is “Hack the EXPO” by Wired magazine. Wired is looking for startup companies, creatives, makers and scholars to develop innovative, entrepreneurial ideas, businesses and apps.

Hack the EXPO” recalls the challenge launched by Giuseppe Sala, the EXPO 2015 Spa CEO, to spread EXPO’s innovative fervour way beyond the boundaries of the EXPO pavilions.

Selected by a panel from Wired, the realization and promotion of the three winning projects will be financed by Wired and its commercial partners (venture capitalists, incubators, crowd funders).

Applications should be made by 26 September 2014, using this form to fill in your personal details, contact details, project title and a brief abstract, and to link to an optional presentation video lasting 90 seconds. Wired will select the 100 most innovative exciting projects, all of whom will compete to win the funding during a final event, to be held in Milan on 4 October.
